Each week your child will have access to a pre-test to assess their current knowledge, followed by a pre-recorded explicit tutoring session with a Bachelor qualified teacher.  Throughout each lesson the teacher will explain in detail the new learning concepts, explore them using multiple examples and elaborate any areas of concern before moving on to the next concept. This is then followed by a weekly post-test, to show the increase in student learning for the week. When all 5 weeks of learning have been completed, students will sit an online final exam covering all elements of the program. Once this has been successfully completed, students are able to download and print their personalised certificate of competency.

These specialised tutoring programs run for 5 weeks at a time and at full price are valued at $375, which equals to only $75 per week.

Children of all levels have grown accustomed to working online. Our explicit approach to each lesson, is very similar to what children experience and are familiar with at school. The video content is specifically chosen to scaffold the previous weeks learning outcomes, ensuring the student is constantly engaged and reusing their newly acquired skills. 

Parents are able and welcomed to check the results of their child's weekly pre and post assessments at any time during the course. Giving them confidence to be able to accurately measure their child's learning outcomes.

Each tutoring session is pre-recorded in a real teaching style of time, with the tutor guiding the students explicitly through concepts, applying theory and catering for multiple learning styles. The tutor then goes through a variety of worked examples and offers multiple practice questions for students to complete during each weekly lesson. 

These are not LIVE lessons but recorded as one complete lesson each week. This gives students the ability to stop, start, pause or rewind any lesson as they need.

Eg. Need more time or information on Week 3 of the Reading Comprehension course? Simple, just rewatch that week and go over the lesson content again.

Students and their parents are welcome to communicate with the tutor via email at any time for the duration of their course.

Yes! At Australian Primary Tutoring we understand the importance of building relationships and consistency in student learning; therefore, you will always communicate with the same tutor for the duration of your program.

All our tutors are Bachelor qualified teachers with multiple years of classroom experience. We pride ourselves in our tutors being lifelong learners themselves, employing high achievers who hold specific professional development qualifications.

All sessions are recorded, so students are able to access, stop, start and replay all weekly sessions at any time, for the duration of their program.

Yes, each program is in line with the current Australian national curriculum, and therefore, will support and enhance what your child is learning at school. 

Yes, we do, but unfortunately at the moment all of our private sessions are completely booked out.

This is why Australian Primary Tutoring came up with the idea of pre-recorded programs. We believe that all children should have access to good quality teaching and learning of specific concepts whether or not face to face tutoring is available. 

We also know that the chosen areas for our programs are the ones that many students struggle with. Which is why we have endeavored to focus on these for our flagship programs.
